What can I say but WEATHER!!!! What is going on this fall.

We are staying another night at Amelia Island as there are again gale winds and heavy rain today all day. We are under tornado watches 50 mph winds and that is inland!!

We will leave here about noon tomorrow and go to another marina by us so we can leave early on Thursday morning and head to one of our favorite ports, St. Augustine.  We are already set with a slip at a marina for several days. It will be fun to meet back up with friends at the marina. They are also headed to the Bahamas but have a home there, they are originally from Norway. They are the ones that lost their engine going around Hatteras during the storm.

When you are a cruiser it is a different lifestyle. You give up your homes, cars and depend on each other. All our friends are spending Xmas with families in the Bahamas, we are the ones that have no one. Bo's sister is coming in January for a week and friends from Iowa come in February.

We was so blessed to have Bo's family, I would never have a sister in law that I could love more, and the kids so blessed.  So excited to have her come for a week, snorkel, shell and discover a new world.

Bo spent all day yesterday ordering parts for our broken traveler, talking to dealers,getting all the parts sent to St. Augustine for Friday. We have a car reserved on Friday, have an appointment at a vet for Butter, do some provisioning return the car on Saturday and go from there. I spent the day filling water tanks and cleaning.

It gives you faith in people every time we have an issue with the boat so helpful and for one dealer referring us to a vet. After Bo told him about the cat he refered us to his, Bo made a call and records are being sent to them.
